Work Summary

I am currently serving as a project lead at an international civil engineering firm specializing in the telecommunications industry. In my current role, I work with utility coordination, power and fiber design, and project management for a wide variety of tower owners and carriers. I have worked in the industry since completing my graduate studies and have held roles in project coordination, analysis, and administrative in a number of companies in this space.

Before working in telecommunications, I worked in a number of full-time, part-time, temporary, contract, and internship roles in government, supply chain, research, public affairs, business development, and various information technology positions.

Education Summary

I hold a BS in psychology and an MBA with a concentration in marketing. My marketing coursework included coursework in marketing management, market research, analytics, and brand management. While my focus was in marketing, my studies included a broad range of coursework in project management, consulting, finance, economics, and business strategy.

As a lifelong learner with an inquisitive and analytical nature, I have a wide range of personal and professional interests. One particular interest is in research and analysis. To bolster my skills and further my curiosity in this area, I completed a certificate in data science during the summer of 2020.

Skills Summary

I have a strong aptitude for technology. In addition to familiarity with most operating system and hardware platforms, I have a wide array of knowledge in various software applications and types of coding. Some specific skills I have include Linux, web design with HTML and CSS, data analysis using Python and SQL, the Microsoft Office and Google software suites, and most of the common remote communication applications.

In addition to technical skills, I excel in a number of other areas as well. I have strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills. I am always focused on actions that provide optimal solutions to project and task closure.

Current Projects

I am currently engaged in a number of projects in my spare time. These include:

• Studying for project management certification through CompTIA and the Project Management Institute
• Expanding upon data analysis projects completed as part of my 2020 data science certificate program
• Developing my web coding and development skills by learning responsive web design using HTML and Bootstrap
